Hell, my grandmother was even born on Halloween. Halloween is awesome!
Tomorrow I'll go to work, enjoy the celebration and fun there all day and then zip home for the real treat.
The kids will be fully decked out in their costumes, two My Little Ponies and Athena, and eagerly awaiting my arrival. They'll be ready to get their trick-or-treat on.
My wife will be in costume, Velma from Scooby-Doo this year, and ready with her trusty Nikon to pack her SD card full of new pictures. I'll rush inside to get dressed in my costume, Shaggy from Scooby-Doo as the wife and I are a matching pair, and be ready to go.
We'll get pictures in front of the house and then we'll be off, marching around the neighborhood packing bags full of sugary treats until we can hardly walk anymore.
The night will end with a brief candy inspection, enough for one treat for each girl, and then we'll send the kids to bed. My wife and I will then proceed to do a more thourough full inspection/sampling of the candy. It's the best way we know how to replenish all the energy we spent walking the hills of the neighborhood.
What other holiday combines so much exercise with binging on sweets? Brilliant!
